… involves heights and falling from them.
This is not something Ivy and I have in common.

Someday – (if you are interested, and if John hasn’t already bored you with the details of his escapade) I will tell you & Ivy about the time when John climbed a ladder onto the top of the roof. He was 2. So, maybe Ivy has it in her blood?
Jess, I am really sorry ! John also talked all the time. and I mean all the time all the time. But look how well things turned out!
Love to all of you!

Yes I pretty sure all Ivy’s obnoxious habits come from John, I clearly was a perfect child, just ask me! 🙂
Ok probably not so perfect but I was painfully shy and afraid of heights so these two habits must be from John!
Oh my, 2yrs old on a roof! Boys! Are they meant for giving Mama’s heart attacks!? That could be Henry. This afternoon I was looking for him and found him on top of my ladder by the apple tree, if there was a roof at the top of that ladder he would have been on it.
Love, Jenny
What in the world was she doing up there???
Ivy was up on the roof helping John, they were putting new flashing over the fascia board Ivy is standing in front of. John had gone for more tools and told me to watch her. I’m not exactly sure what I was supposed to be watching or what I was going to do about any potential catastrophe, so I took pictures instead.
Jenny – Ivy loves climbing and always has. Last winter I found her on top of that step ladder in a tree in our yard, we had left it up after hanging Christmas lights. I’m much more careful about putting them away now, since I don’t want to have to go up after her!
