Yesterday baby spiders hatched in my window box and my spinach was covered with the tiny guys.
There were tiny spiders and tiny webs everywhere.
Clara picked up a handful and they flowed out of her hand on their tiny webs like water in slow motion.
Today they have vanished to wherever it is that baby spiders go and my spinach was spider free when I picked it for dinner.

I’m glad I got the pictures too, even by the time Ivy got home that afternoon there were only a handful around instead of hundreds. Pretty impressive how fast they all scattered!

Lovely photos! Tiny spiders covering your plants is definitely not a sight you want! Glad they are all gone…but the question remains, where did they all disappear to?
Good question – and one I”m trying not to ponder. Especially not since Johnny’s Harry Potter comment about following the spiders…
