I’ve been making Toad in the Holes as a quick breakfast for the girls and I can’t decide if I should continue.
Is it the best breakfast food to keep everyone happy?
Or are the resulting plates just too ridiculous?
(And no, they won’t trade plates when they are “done.”)
Of COURSE they won’t trade plates – that would make it way too easy for you! π
exactly.
Your blog is so good, Jessie, just for this reason–you record parenthood as it is! π
So true!
Hilarious! Go for the Eggos!
Looks like your toad in a hole is ready for you!
Oh the joys of being the mom… π
Who eats what?
Clara ate the egg and Ivy ate the toast. But, as I’m sure you know, it’s not like I can plan on that happening next time!
Ah, this cracks me up! One day, they will learn that it is to their best interest to trade plates.
This is an awesome portrayal of what meals with kids are truly like! Thanks for sharing these pictures and stories…we all need to hear and see them and smile π
Yup, then you add in that the next time Ivy ate it all but the crust that then Jane came by and scavenged…. There’s just no planning for what will actually get eaten around here!
