So when I think of fish usually that quote from Dr. Sweets in Disney’s Atlantis pops in my head, “I hate fishing. I hate fish. Hate the taste, hate the smell, hate all them little bones.” BUT I like your pictures of fish.
Then I think of other quotes from that movie ” Wilhelmina: [over the P.A. system] To whoever took the “L” from the “Motor Pool” sign, ha-ha, we are all very amused.” And “Wilhelmina: [over the P.A. system] Attention. Tonight’s supper will be baked beans. Musical program to follow. Who wrote this?”
And realize I have never grown up…but I will spare you Peter Pan quotes.
Time in the wild, on the water, relaxes the body and mind, solitude revives the spirit, fishing provides grist for your genetic memory, the beauty of rocks and flowers adds a touch of awe and wonder, and at the close of a perfect day you can eat the fish. A vacation to soothe and quiet your soul.
great photos. It’s so nice to see Indian Paintbrush and Fireweed. Since we’ve moved, those are two plants (that I’ve known my entire life) that I don’t get to experience anymore. Great trout — they’re wonderful cooked over a campfire in a trusty old cast iron pan. Enjoy!
