…is because Jane likes to dress herself.
Jane contemplates how many clothes she can put on and still move.
On a random Monday I peeled layer after layer off her and found…
a green swimming suit,
a pink swimming suit,
a long sleeved shirt,
a short sleeved dress,
a long sleeved pajama top,
a ballerina skirt,
a pair of leggings,
her pajama pants
and, finally, a single pair of underwear.
It might be reason #578 we do a lot of laundry but she sure knows how to layer for cold weather!

Well if you’d like to keep up today was a dress, three t-shirts, long sleeve shirt and leggings sort of day. 🙂
Congrats! You’re raising an independent young lady who knows her own mind. The world is going to be hearing from Jane.
Ohh this took me right back to my own ‘then’ little girl – particularly the ballerina skirt (also with leggings!) though in my daughters case it was teamed with a particularly fetching pair of yellow wellies 🙂

She is awesome! I find it particularly charming that she is “layering” with swimming suits! Now that’s a trend I am not real familiar with, but might be able to wrap my head around :)….(but I think I’ll wait until it gets a little warmer.)
That’s the beauty of layering with swimsuits, it doesn’t matter how cold it is outside you just add a sweatshirt or two underneath! 🙂
