I never thought about it before but I’ve heard chickens make happy sounds, and I’ve seen them doing happy chicken things but I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a chicken *look* happy!

Chickens always look angry to me. Then again, my brother was attacked by one when we were little, so there may be some psychological messy thing going on there.
Turkeys also look grumpy. But they’re sweet. I like turkeys. 🙂

I feel completely opposite.
I once worked at a place where the turkey was in love with man who lived there and hated all other women and used jump at my head when I’d bend over to feed her. Then there were the first four turkeys we raised that used to terrorize our Great Dane, jump at her when she was trying to pee and chase her around the house. Another year we raised turkeys we let them free range and we had a storm complete with hail and because it got dark really suddenly the turkeys were all roosting stupid places like on top of roofs instead of in their nice shelter and I had to run around in the hail and find all the stupid things because I didn’t want them to die right before thanksgiving when we were going to butcher them. Well that last one might not be the turkeys fault but in general I think turkeys are jerks!
Oh no! Funny how our experiences lead us to have different outlooks though. 🙂
