We woke to a brief and beautiful return of winter. Four inches of the first, perfectly packable, snowman-making snow we’ve had this winter.
Of course I had to ask my biggest Frozen fan “Do you want to build a snowman?”
And she said “No. You build it, I will smash it down.”
Obliging mother that I am, I built her a snowman as she waited, fat bat at the ready, to smash it down.
And when there was nothing left but the original ball of snow, her sister took the bat, turned it around and ran the snowman through.
I think my girls might be ready for spring.
Hahahaha! I don’t know whether to find that adorable or be scared :p
Whatever it was it certainly was not what I expected her to say!
I’m ready to take a bat to winter as well.
Yeah, we are back in squishy mud, slush, sleety time of year now. Yuck!
Oh, my, such violence! You’d better worry about when you sleep at night. Hee Hee
Hopefully so long as I don’t look like a snowman when I sleep I’ll be ok. (But I’ll keep the bat outside in the garage just in case!)
Taking a bat to winter. Now there’s a great analogy for this. 🙂
Now *that* should have been my posts title!
