I spent the month of November as a tiny pepper.
Not only posting on my own blog everyday but doing my best to read other peppers’ posts, commenting, liking and sharing the love on twitter.
I was worried when I started that perhaps it would take some of the fun out of this blogging thing I do. That blogging would become a chore, but I did it anyway because I’m totally contrary like that.
Turns out, I shouldn’t have worried.
I loved the excuse that I “had” to go spend some time writing on my blog. Fortunately that was something my competitive, challenge-embracing family had no trouble understanding and I was gracefully granted all the time I needed.
It’s been a great month and thanks to Fish of Gold, I even get to display this lovely badge, perfect for us competitive types.
Now the only one who should be worried is John, It’s possible I’ve gotten used to this amount of time spent blogging.
Who needs clean laundry anyway?
Way to go!! 🙂
Thank you! It was fun, and the other peppers are a pretty darn awesome group of bloggers!
CONGRATS, you clever little pepper you!
(Clean laundry and personal hygiene are overrated. If they complain, just remember those four precious little words—”I can blog that.”)
😀 Great advice! 🙂
Yeah, blogging is kind of like an addiction, the more you do it the more you become attached to it. Then suddenly you try to stop and it becomes lonely after so much constant communication… although right about now I’m not feeling like I have anything left to say, so we’ll see how December goes.
That sounds just about right… but I posted Dec 1st so I’m not quite out of things to say yet! 😉
That’s awesome! I think I missed a day or 2 in transit what with the time difference and all but otherwise I did the whole month too! It was definitely more fun than I expected 🙂
Well since when you fly that far I think you do miss in a day in real life I feel like that’s pretty legit! It’s fun to be part of a group inside a group, isn’t it? 🙂
Oh it’s definitely fun 🙂 I’ll be sure to do this again next year!
Most of the time I forsake the housework too! (and I love it!)
Me too! 🙂
I only have a husband and a dog and I never worry about housework. When your girls are grown they will remember all the fun things that you and John did with them not if the house was clean or not.! Keep up the good job here, I love all your news.
And I love all your comments! 🙂
Also I’m not talking dusting or anything- just your basic clean clothes. That way Jane has clean socks to wear to the library… oh wait, no, that’s never happened… 😉
So proud of you! Congratulations!
Thanks! 🙂
