A Friday ritual.
A single photo – no words – capturing a moment from the week.
A simple, special, extraordinary moment.
A moment I want to pause, savor and remember.

I *love* your Friday rituals Jessie. You always catch such precious moments with the girls that I know you will look back on for years to come. Beautiful x
I’m glad you like them. This is one of those things that I often post just for me and it’s good to hear other people enjoy them too! 🙂 I’ve been thinking about making a little photo book with all of them from the past few years. But I can’t decide if that sounds like a fun project or a heck of a lot of work tracking down all those photos and editing them in a size suitable for printing! 🙂
Haha, it sounds like a fun but massive project to tackle on a rainy day. Something like Blurb.com would help 😊
Yes, the trouble is by the time we get a rainy day I’m usually staring at a mountain of housework I’ve been avoiding because it’s been too nice outside to stay in and clean. But one day… I’ve never used blurb.com I’m going to check that out more thoroughly next time I need to make a photo book!
So sweet. Did you get your field burnt yesterday?
Yup, Our neighbor burned that strip down by the road that is a little prairie planting. I didn’t help, just went down and visited for a bit, can’t keep me away from a good fire! 🙂
Thank you for sharing this precious moment, quite made my day!
Glad you liked it, and thanks for the reblog!
You have such a precious family, I love the pictures you post…
Reblogged this on Anita Dawes & Jaye Marie.
I’ve been awol and seeing this made me remember how much I love your Friday posts. Beautiful memories!
It’s good to see you back! 🙂
Two little chicks together… Way too cute. 🙂
Now that’s the title I should have given this post! 🙂
Absolutely adorable! I have been having the same precious moments with my son and our new baby chicks. Just melts my heart.
It’s amazing how careful and sweet they are with the little babies isn’t it!
