Never have a conversation about how you aren’t going to go looking for a kitten but if a kitten showed up in need of a home, it would be a good time to add a cat to the family… unless you really mean it.
Meet our new kitten, and Jane’s early birthday present, whose name has ranged from a very confusing “Sarah” to an equally confusing “Baroness Sarah McCutiePie Von Stuffington of Sunshine Manor”.
Be careful what you say, the universe responds to kitten requests in a very timely fashion.
Maybe don’t even think the thought let alone say it out loud 🙂 Kittens are very smart that way, knowing just when to show up.
Good point- no more kitty thoughts for me, she’s sweet but I think we are full up now!
Reblogged this on Anita Dawes & Jaye Marie.
they do say that you should never let the universe know your plans, and I suppose the opposite could be true…
😀 I guess so!
I like the photo love the name that was..Baroness Sarah McCutiePie Von Stuffington of Sunshine Manor”. And think it should be kept at all costs. But and here is the rub… a cat is not for me *gasp* there i admitted it live on ethernet me and a cat will never be! 😇 just the way it is. Have a brilliant week.
It’s alright, just keep saying “A cat is not for me.” or you never know what might show up on your doorstep! 😉
Bo! They keep coming… one swanked up all green eyed and jet black like it was wearing emeralds at a dinner party! Poohed in the MIDDLE of my lawn shook its arse like Miley Cirus on a good day then strode up the deck and looked straight in the french windows at me. *sighs* as if I am bothered… 😯😕
Ahhh but those are cats. It’s the kittens that are the real trouble! 😉
No it is only about six months cocky little tyke. 😇😉
Jessie, I was thinking that by adding your family the kitten could be “Sarah Cat Stevens”
I like that! 🙂
Only known as Sarah to me, I know she found a good home. I hope your other critters like her too.
Well the dogs aren’t back home yet, and the other cats are being kept desperate for the first few days. One got in with her today and ate all her kitten food and there was some hissing but nothing more than that. All three kitties got new toys and lots of extra love today so hopefully the transition wont’ be too rough!
Resistance is futile! 😀
So cute! We lost our lovely cat Lenny in February. Considering getting kittens again and your post has made me broody!!! Thanks for sharing. I have just started a poetry blog here on WordPress in case you have time to have a look? Wishing you a sunny afternoon, Sam 🙂
Sorry to hear about Lenny. 😦 But kittens do make the world more smiley, I recommend them! 🙂
