The Holiday Controversy

Normally I steer clear of controversial topics but occasionally there are times (like the great macaroni debate) when I’m willing to broach a touchy subject.

The holidays are upon us, people everywhere are baking and I need to know…

How do you measure flour?

I measure flour because I am British and therefore don’t deal with this cup nonsense 😉

Insert 1 cup measure into 1 gallon container of flour and fill it. Think about Mrs. Landini’s home economics class where we sifted and lifted flour into the cup measure. Dump flour into mixing bowl.

I’m with Susie, just scoop it out with the cup!

Nice measuring scoop. I just pour some flour into a bowl and hope for the best.
