There are many signs of spring but when I look to the top of the maple trees and see that they are in bloom I feel secure that it’s really on it’s way.

The feeling probably stems from the relief of knowing that my bees (which did make it through the winter this year!) finally have a food source they can go out and forage.

If the bees can find food, it must really be spring.

I’m participating in the April Squares challenge over at The Life of B!
That’s a great bee shot!
Thanks. It helps to sit outside a busy hive lots of chances that way. 🙂
Yay for the willow for bees . . . I have some wild bees at the bottom of garden and noticed them this week emerging. Very exciting
Bees are a sure sign of spring! ❤
I knew that Spring had finally arrived when I watched the biggest bumblebee in my garden…
Those huge bumblebees are the queen bees, the only ones that overwinter from a bumblebee colony. They have to rear the first batch of young workers all on their own they are some super busy single moms flying around this time of year!
Look at those bees, striking a pose! 😀
