This morning, after she left for school, I found she had left this sweet, little package for me:
The ears of her chocolate bunny, left for her mother to enjoy!
Isn’t she the best, kindest and most thoughtful daughter ever?!?
Or… last years genius talk of it being bad luck not to let your mom eat your bunny ears really sunk in and she’s worried about finding next year’s basket.
Either way, I washed down my lunch with a set of bunny ears. I’m going with best daughter ever on this one!
(Read all about my “Evil or Genius?” plot from last year and then try it on your own kids- it seems to be working!)
So sweet! Those kind of comments make your day. Tonight my 5 year old told me I made the best teriyaki chicken ever…it was a lovely side effect of her hunger as dinner was rather late! 😉
They sure do, thanks for stopping by!
You’re welcome. And thanks for putting a link to my blog on your page…I’m really honoured. It was a fun surprise to see a picture of my girls on your site! 🙂
No problem it was a great post!
I love your stories and completely forgot about this. I need to put chocolate bunnies in the baskets and start this!
For sure! The Easter Bunny almost blew the budget on fancy chocolate bunnies this year… but I decided that might be taking things a bit far. 🙂
That is awesome 🙂 and I love the first picture.
Thanks- I’ll admit, she was “stuck” in a wheelbarrow and I told her I wasn’t letting her out until I took her picture. She’s been unwilling to be photographed lately. But since her little sister can get out of the wheelbarrow on her own I figured I wasn’t *really* torturing her too bad!
Ha 🙂 The things we do to get a nice photo 🙂
Remember this moment in eight or nine years when she says, “Mom, something happened to the car.” 🙂
Alright – when that topic comes up on my blog someone remind me of this! 🙂
Yep – she’s the best daughter ever 🙂 So sweet!
Indeed!
that is sooooo sweet and doesn’t she take a great pic. You are a fab photogapher too. You just very kindly replied to me on the 201 so really appreciate it and thought I would take a nosy on your blog hehe x
Glad you came by to snoop! I’m loving 201 hope you are too!
Yes I’m just beginning with it. I do find the commons blog hard to get around I’m never sure whose posting where lol and what’s most recent but I will eventually get there being a late starter x
I find it jumps around on me every now and then and I loose things not sure why. Other than that I think the moderators always have their posts on top follow by the most recent… I think…
it locks me out sometimes the whole screen goes blue…yikes
How sweet of your daughter. I’d like to believe she saved the ears out of love for her mommy (and not because of some mommy ‘threats’). 🙂
have I told you that I love the way you capture your children’s portraits? If not, now I do. 🙂
She is very good a sharing treats with everyone including me so I believe she was just being sweet – and bad luck about Easter was probably the reason she gave me the ears and not the tail! And thank you for the photo compliment, check the comment above on how I had to “torture” her to get this one though! 🙂
Hahahahahah….you’re nasty! (wish I had thought of that!)
This is an amazing idea. I bet John was just mad he didn’t think of it first!
