Weekly Photo Challenge: Gone, But Not Forgotten

Weekly Photo Challenge: Gone, But Not Forgotten

Our snow is gone.

The plastic sleds left in the yard on a snowy day have melted their way down to the leaf covered ground.red sled with no snow

But a shortage of snow is no real deterrent to little girls who are ready to play.Jane pulling red sled

We are just calling the sleds “boats” until the snow flies again.

Bob sleds! I’ve never experienced snow before so I don’t know how it feels to ride one on snow 😀 Hope it snows again soon so the girls can play and be happy 🙂

Well I hope you one day get a chance to try it, it’s great in a cold, butt bumping, face freezing way. My advice- learn how to “bail” if you are sledding with obstacles! 🙂

  3. I thought you’d like to know I nominated you for the Leibster Award. Your blog is super duper! You can see how to get the award by going to mine http://skybluedaze.wordpress.com/2014/12/10/leibster/ and see what I wrote about your blog in the lower part. Click on the award logo on my site and copy the URL to put it in your blog as an image in your award response and as a sidebar widget. Keep up the good work! Kay

Thanks so much Kay! Despite my good intentions I’ve never yet managed to pass along an award- we’ll see how I do with this one but no matter how it turns out I very much appreciate it! 🙂

      • You’re welcome. It took me weeks to get around to this award and I have nominations for another. It takes time and consideration to make the decision. It helps promote each others’ blogs and I’m all for that. No hurry.
