Weekly Photo Challenge: Serenity
When I hear the word “serenity” all I can think is:
…Burn the land and boil the sea, You can’t take the sky from me…
Sadly, no matter how many times I sang that song, we were still a bit short of space cowboys this week. So, I settled for a picture of the orchard under a new coating of snow instead.
Wow! that certainly is beautiful, but it sure looks COLD!
Nah- this was taken in the morning, it’s been disgustingly above freezing during the day. I wish it was colder!
Thats a beautiful image! Wish I was there!
See, this cold stuff is growing on you isn’t’ it! 🙂
Lol! Maybe :p
Gosh, it looks so peaceful and quiet…
Oh, that’s just a trick of photography…
This is from last winter but it’s a much more accurate represntation of what it’s actually like here: https://behindthewillows.com/2013/12/16/country-winters/
incredibly beautiful
Isn’t it? Makes me wonder what’s wrong with all the people around here who hate the snow. Gonna be cold anyway, might as well be pretty too!
Such a fabulous picture Jessie – thanks for sharing 🙂
Glad you liked it! 🙂
Beautiful…. Very peacful, a comphy serenity
Well, I had a car full of the rest of my family at my back telling me to quit being a crazy picture taker so we could go, so not super peaceful in person but it was beautiful! 🙂
At least it was not the day your daughter was asking for water
🙂 You got that right! 🙂
Beautiful photo. Would love to experience the beautiful snow landscapes. We’re sitting in 41 degrees C at the moment, here in Sydney. Whew!
Woah! You can keep that heat down there!!!
