If by “do Forró” you mean have John and I occasionally attempted to move our hips like a brazilian rather than the stiff americans we are while our friends Forró band plays, than yes! 😀

I used to…. DB “doesn’t dance” and doesn’t approve of me dancing with anyone else – especially “that close”. 😦 I had a couple of Brazilian friends (and for a couple of months a Brazilian boyfriend) where I used to live. They introduced me to it and I was hooked. Forró (and modern jazz, which I haven’t danced in years) is practically the only dance I can stumble through without feeling like a galumphing idiot. I obviously don’t look the tiniest bit Brazilian, but at least I don’t fall over! 🙂
Yeah, that’s not the kind of dancing I want my husband to be doing with anyone else either! 😀 We don’t look the tiniest bit Brazilian either but it is fun to try. Tomorrow their band is playing so we’ll get to see if we remember anything from last time!
