Here they are headed to their first day of first and fourth grade.
I bet you can guess who came home bubbling with excitement who came home and pronounced the day “boring” and “horrible.”
Poor Clara.
Maybe if we could introduce bee keeping into the first grade curriculum she’d enjoy school a little more…

Hopefully. Though she never really did last year, and as someone who hated all… (math, math, math) 17 years of her own schooling I feel her pain!

Agreed! Luckily for me, my kiddos always felt pretty positive about it.
My youngest is always super excited when I fetch her from school, babbling on about what she did that day. By contrast my eldest always replies the same way … “Boring”. Just a single word. Fantastic! 🙈
😀 That’s about what I have. I am glad it’s the older one who’s excited, she can help drag her little sister along in her wake of excitement that way. 🙂

Oh I’m sure she’ll find something, even if its just that she gets to see her friends everyday. But at this point I have a hard time imagining she’ll ever be up and happily ready to go like her older sister is!
