ah, so he does play chicken when the geese show up! (sorry, it just blurted out of me). Though he is rather a fierce looking rooster. 🙂
😀 He sure does, he’s not near as fierce as he looks. Rather a wimp in the rooster world but he’s our only one and he’s nice to humans so he can stay.
What a fabulous portrait, and such a wonderful start to squares. he certainly looks top dog!
He was unusually willing to “stand” for a portrait. He must have known he’d be widely admired! 😉
My parents have very ferocious geese so I sympathise with him.
My geese aren’t what I would call ferocious but the gander tolerates no shenanigans out of the rooster. Poor Enchilada has to court his harem when the gander isn’t looking!
Obviously a gentleman… er, chook, of discretion. 🙂 … very handsome too. 🙂
😀 He is handsome, if I could teach him to wipe off his chin just imagine how the hens would fall for him then!
