A Friday ritual.
A single photo – no words – capturing a moment from the week.
A simple, special, extraordinary moment.
A moment I want to pause, savor and remember.

It’s still April, and here is yet another contribution to the Squares challenge with The Life of B.
I’m participating in the April Squares challenge with The Life of B!
What do people even do if they don’t have chickens to model for them when it’s the last day of their weekly photo challenge and they haven’t come up with anything yet?

Weekly Photo Challenge: Transformation
Errr… you know when you go around taking pictures of things in “transition” because you think that’s what the photo challenge is and then you look late at night and realize it was a different, long, “t” word?
Yeah… that’s what I did.
I was going to talk about the transition from day to to night, how the neighbor was taking the corn off his field tonight and how this was taken in my driveway and all the transitions those things contain. It was a great “transition” post I had been writing in my head.
As it stands it was a good thing those clouds have been transformed by the setting sun or I’d have nothing to post tonight!
Photo blogging my way through the alphabet with:
I just love those late day winter blues!
My mom and I took a trip to Colorado and despite the look of the previous post we did see more than fish.
But it’s possible we only looked up when the fish weren’t biting!
I stood at the edge of the orchard, facing the southern sky, surrounded by the buzz and bite of mosquitoes and watched. Slapped mosquitoes and watched some more.
As I fed mosquitoes the whole impressive show slid by, the sun set and I turned and headed back to my dark house.
The storm just before this one was more of a direct hit. No major damage but it’s been over two hours now and our power still hasn’t recovered!
